The Order of Kyber is one of the many Jedi communities that exist online and offline. What is a Jedi, you ask? A Jedi is someone who explores the roots of the inspiration of George Lucas’ space opera Star Wars and the expanded universe (both canon and non-canon) for wisdom to apply to their daily life.
The members of the Order of Kyber are real Jedi (either as a religion or as a way of life) and not a group of roleplayers. We engage in our training sincerely to improve ourselves and the world around us.
The Order of Kyber strives to be an open community. Those curious about what it means to be a Jedi are welcome in our halls. Because of its open nature, our Jedi ascribe to many doctrines and many belief systems. We do have guidelines for the type of community we would like to have here and they can be found under About Us

Name: The Order of Kyber
Motto: Peace Through Service
As an Order we:
Inspire:
The Force is the essence of life. As Yoda tells Luke “Life creates [the Force] makes it grow. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter.” As such, our interactions with each other and with the world should be the sort that inspires, that breathes life into each other, that strengthens connections to each other and the Force and builds each other up. At the Order of Kyber, each day you have the opportunity to explore something new by going to “Today’s Inspiration”
Edify:
One of the ways in which we strengthen ourselves and others in our knowledge of the Force is through education. Our education can be self directed or assisted by others, but each day is a new opportunity to learn and grow.
Engage:
Service is an essential part of the Jedi Path. As such, we look for opportunities to serve wherever we find ourselves. But there is a reason this is placed last. Proper service cannot be done by someone not continually inspired or edified, either by themselves (through individual training) or others. Self care and self development is the catalyst for any service.
